Occupation: Mother, chef, author, secretary, purchasing agent, accountant, maid, and head dishwasher - you get the picture... I run my websites as well as my husband's electrical contracting office.
Bio: Married since '84 with two kids, one married daughter who gave me my two grand-angels, and a son who is still living with us after H.S. Originally from Farmington Maine, I moved to Colorado as soon as I possibly could.
Interests: Cooking, Downhill Skiing, Motorcycle riding - I ride an 1100 Honda Shadow and my husband rides a Harley Dyna Wide Glide that he WON on a 25-cent slot machine in Las Vegas in 1998... Yee-haw for Sin City!
You Might Not Guess: I started college at age 16 after skipping two grades along the way, but never went back after my first year. Instead I "took 1 year off" and moved to Vail to decide on a major. 27 years later it is obvious I majored only in the mountains.

Re: Venezuela means 'Little Venice' ?
You'll have to chew on this one for a while, as I don't expect to be around much after tomorrow, until next Tues-Wednesday, and I am sure to be busy playing catch-up everywhere by then ..... going to spend a few quiet days down in Springville, a.k.a. Grand Junction, with my friend Jean, who finishes up her winter job in Beaver Creek on Saturday, closing day for the mountain, and has requested a few days at my other house to relax before she starts her summer landscaping job (she may have a longer wait than usual, as we have a ton of snow still - and are expecting a foot or so again tonight. Heard on the news last night that they have closed I-70 SEVENTY-ONE times since this winter season started, and expect to exceed the state snow removal budget by 100% before all is said and done.... YIKES!)
The trouble with square meals is that they make you round.

Re: Venezuela means 'Little Venice' ?
I got you ALL! Bye till next week..... FACT
Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian explorer for whom both Americas are named, came up with the name when he sailed into Venezuela's Lake Maracaibo, a 5,150 sq. mile inlet of the Caribbean Sea. There he saw huts on stilts that reminded him of Venice. At the time of his trip, Lake Maracaibo was pristine, the largest natural lake of South America; it has since become polluted due to the discovery of oil in the 1920s.
